Cha Cha

Cha Cha was signed to Noontime/Epic Records and released her debut album "Dear Diary" on September 14, 1999. The first single was "New Millenium (What Cha Wanna Do). The album did not chart, and it featured many guest appearances from [a=Nas], [a=Ja Rule], [a=The Murderers], [a=Jagged Edge (2)], [a=Jermaine Dupri], [a=Trick Daddy], [a=Jim Crow], LaTocha Scott of [a=Xscape], and [a=Juvenile (2)]. She was 18 when she made her debut. She has delved into acting by appearing in a several comedic sketches for MTV's Lyricist Lounge. Especially the "hair salon" routine. She was on BET''s Teen Summit in 1999 discussing the then "scrubs/pigeons" controversy. She performed on Soul Train doing "New Millenium", and her Jagged Edge collaboration. Later she was a member of the rap group "D-Elite" for some time.
