José Arturo Giolito

"Giolito" was an influential Chilean band leader, percussionist, drummer, songwriter, singer and musician. Son of [b]José Giolito[/b] (drummer on [a2395865]), he was born on 21 May, 1932 in Concepción, and died 24 november 2008 in Santiago. After playing in the 60s with [b]Ritmo y Juventud[/b], [b]Los Primos[/b] and [b]Pat Henry y Sus Diablos Azules[/b], in 1968 he founded his own band, [b]Giolito y Su Combo[/b] and was drummer on orchestra from TV show "Los Sábados Gigantes" (led by [a2877721]).
