SMK

SMK (aka South Memphis King) is an American recording rapper, dee jay and record producer from Memphis, Tennessee. SMK is considered one of the Godfathers of Memphis rap and he is credited as a key figure in the popularization and glorification of the Memphis "Gangsta Walk" , a dance style. His production influenced a style that was later developed into what became the sound of Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy, and Timbaland. He has also produced for other major artist such as Young Jeezy, 2- Pac, Playa Fly, E-40 , Pastor Troy, Jazzy Pha, just to name a few.
