Toto Cutugno
Salvatore "Toto" Cutugno (7 July 1943, Fosdinovo, Tuscany – 22 August 2023, Milan, Lombardy) was an Italian pop singer-songwriter and musician. He was best known for his worldwide hit song, "L'Italiano" (1983). Cutugno also won the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 held in Zagreb, SFR Yugoslavia, with the song "Insieme: 1992". Cutugno started his musical career as a drummer and co-founded the band [a=Albatros] in 1974, before embarking on a songwritting career.
