Peter Eötvös

Hungarian composer, conductor and music teacher. Born 2 January 1944 in Székelyudvarhely (Transylvania). Studied composition in Budapest and Köln. Member of the Stockhausen Ensemble (1958-76). Musical director of the Ensemble InterContemporain (1979-91). Married to [a9123694]. Died 24 March 2024 in Budapest, Hungary.
