Carol Vaness

American lyric soprano (born July 27th, 1952 in San Diego). She launched her professional career in 1977 with the San Francisco Opera. She made her [a=The Metropolitan Opera] debut in 1984 and has sung at many of the major opera houses of Europe. Also she teaches music at the Indiana University.
