James Torme

American jazz vocalist. Born: 13 August 1973 in New York City, New York, USA. He is based in Los Angeles, California, USA. After winning the Chuck Niles Jazz Music Award in 2007, and releasing two independent CDs, he signed with [l=Koch Records] (now [l=eOne Music]) in 2008, releasing his debut album "[r=13114588]" (2011). Son of jazz artist [a=Mel Tormé] and jazz/classical pianist [a=Janette Scott], grandson of British actress [a=Thora Hird].
