Phillip Gould

Philip was born in Melbourne, Australia on the 23rd of February 1957 and grew up in Heidelberg West, Australia Philip was destined for a life in show business. Philip's father Lewis Gould ran a dancing school and his mother Joan Bullock was a singer. Both appeared at Melbourne's legendary Tivoli Theatre. He has an older brother Colin, and a sister, Dianne. Philip began singing and dancing at an early age and made his professinal debut at the age of seven playing a 'Moon Goblin' at Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre in the pantomime Noddy Goes To The Moon. Two years later he player one of Fagin's gang in Oliver! In 1969, he became part of Brian and the Juniors, and after it finished in 1970 he one the role of 'Young Patrick' in the stage hit Mame opposite Gaylea Byrne.
