Toru Okada (2)

Toru Okada was a screamo band from Austin, Texas that formed in May of 2003 and broke up in September of 2006. They are named after the main character of "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle" by Haruki Murakami. They have released one full length, two splits, and a handful of demos, as well as a discography tape. Members: Rusty Kelley – Vocals Drew Pickell – Vocals Will Wolfe – Drums Alejandro "Ali" Rose-Garcia – Guitar (2003-2004) Clark Sieger – Guitar (2004-2006) Sam Wolfe – Bass Sam Bacarisse – Guitar Dan Patrick – Guitar (March - August 2003) Ali was the main songrwiter, so when he left the band and was replaced by Clark, the band lost their chemistry and only recorded one new song before breaking up.
