Duo Resonante

Danish/Dutch experimental duo based in Aarhus, Denmark. After playing together in different groups and contexts since the beginning of the eighties in the Danish avantgarde surroundings Henrik Jespersen and Ko de Regt decided to start to work as a duo in 1993. They released a musiccasette in 1993, and in 1994 they appear as [a213900] on the compilation [r=304068]. In 1995 they released their first CD, now using the artist name Duo Resonante. The basis of the music is formulated by de Regt's obukano (bass lyre from Kenya), over which Jespersen, with his electro acoustic amplified saxophone and wood flute, lays his layers of melodies and sounds.
