Ashels

Ashels is a Flemish folk group that emerged in the late seventies. They play danceable folk (like Tree Bals ) with a collection of instruments, some of which transcend traditional music. Since 2006 Ashels rotates in Boombal Circuit and the group is deen regularly in performances where dancing is central. In addition to performances at festivals in Belgium (including Folk Dranouter, Winter Folk AB Brussels, Feestival Gooik, Na Fir Bolg and Folk Ro) Ashels was also on the boards in the Netherlands, Germany, France.
