Johnny Ashcroft

Johnny Ashcroft, AM, FAIHA, (born 1 February 1927, North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia - died 19 May 2021) was an Australian country musician and songwriter. He is known in Australia for his 1960 hit 'Little Boy Lost', about a four year old boy Steven Walls who wandered into the bush and was found alive and well after four days and three nights. He began his music career in 1953 and retired from the industry in 1998. He was married to [a=Gay Kayler].
