Gert Rostock Jensen

Danish jazz and rock bassist (born 11 April 1948). Very versatile in music styles, Rostock / Rostock Jensen has played with a large variety of Danish bands and solo artists. Started out in the 60's playing rock with bands like [a=The Flintones], [a=Les Rivals (2)], [a=The Baronets] and [a=The Black Devils (3)], in those days known as Gert Jensen, In the 70's he was a frequently used studio musician, often in sessions led by [a=Peder Kragerup], a.o. on [a=Sebastian]'s early records. He was also in high demand as live musician, in cabarets and musicals. Occasionally he sings as well as plays guitar and banjo.
