Urano Players

Urano Players is a hip hop group from Valladolid, Spain. The group have six members: Erik, Edu, Morenno H, Miguel Grimaldo (a.k.a. Mikez Maus), Dj Porre and Dj Zar1. Their lyrics talks about the daily real life of them, encrypted under a space language and metaphors of the universe, galaxies, planets or sci-fi, and full of references about books, films, music, etc. And all with personal rapping styles. The productions are atmospherical, dense and avant-gardists, with an evident respect and influence of the Golden Era sound, methods and attitude of the original beatmaking science. Voyager Rock´s is the self released debut album of them, and was acclaimed by critics and specialized media like a necessary rupture and a totally innovator album and sound in the spanish boring hip hop scene. Voyager Rock´s had appear in the 2009 best albums lists of many spanish musical webs like Playground, Serie B, A Little Beat and others. Their shows also are differents, with live production, two MPC´s and synthetizers added to the classic methods of the hip hop live shows.
