Agni Hotra

The very first Polish Hard Core Straight Edge Hare Krsna band. They started in 1995. They recorded their first demo tape „Protect Your Friends” in Warsaw’s Yamaha Studio (engineered by Krzysztof Palczewski) in 1995 and released it by themselves. The album „Govinda” was recorded in the same studio in 1996 and was released on CD by LifeLine Records (1996) and MC by Youth Culture (1997). At that time the band were: Bartek Żółkoś – vocal, Jarek Składanek – bass, Robert Stajszczak – drums, Hubert Pilich – guitar.  Both recordings were reissued on vinyl – „Govinda” LP in 2016 and „Protect Your Friends” EP in 2017 by No Pasaran Record & Zima Records. Both recordings were remastered by Grzegorz Kucharski Lazy Sounday Studio.
