American doo-wop bass vocalist. Worked with [a=The Cadets] (lead on "Stranded in the Jungle"), "The Soul Seekers" (1955-'57) and replaced Bobby Nunn in the [a=The Coasters] (from 1958 to 1967). In the 1970s performed with groups such as “The Zion Travelers" gospel singers Born May 14, 1928 in Shreveport, Louisiana - Died January 16, 2000 in Long Beach, California.
