vellaDonna

vellaDonna was an indie metal band from Osaka, Japan. Formed on November 1st 1997 by vocalist [a=Seek (5)] and bassist [a=GOMA (7)], they were joined by Kiri on guitar and [a=NAOKI (6)] on drums. Signed to Scull Crusher, they switched to the visual kei label [l=Matina] in mid-1998. In early 1998 Kiri left the band and was replaced by [a=TAKO (6)] (at first recruited as a support guitarist, he eventually became an official member in October 1998). One year later also [a=NAOKI (6)] left and was replaced initially by former Cloud Forestia member Satoru, and later by another drummer called Akira. vellaDonna disbanded after a concert on February 11th 2001 and re-formed in 2014.
