Mathias Modica

German-Italian Producer, A&R and DJ from Berlin, Germany but he was born in Rome, Italy. He is the founder and A&R running House and Nu-Disco record label [l=Toy Tonics], alongside his Nu-Jazz electronica focused sub-label [l=Kryptox]. He mainly DJs a lot of Disco, Euro-Disco, Italo-Disco, House music and 80s and 70s Funk music, typically at DJ events he participates in. Mainly Toy Tonics organized events like "Toy Tonics Jam", "Italomania" and "Tonic Disco Lab" under his DJ and producer name [a=Kapote]. He used to run the now discontinued record label [l=Gomma] under his former artist name [a=Munk], releasing indie disco, new wave funk, weird pop & experimental electronica. In 2021, for the first time he released music under his name "Mathias Modica" but under his sub-label [l=Kryptox], he released his first Nu-Jazz and electronic downtempo album called [r=18896110].
