Kate Hammett-Vaughan

Canadian Jazz singer Vocalist, interpreter of jazz standards as well as performer with improvising groups like Garbo's Hat and the NOW Orchestra. She has worked and recorded with British bassist Barry Guy, American trombonist George Lewis, Québecois guitarist René Lussier, and composer Susan Frykberg. She has also recorded soundtracks for independent films, and performed with dance companies.
