Jazz trumpeter and cornetist, born c. 1905. Joined [a=King Oliver] in Chicago in 1927. Worked with [a=Junie Cobb] in 1928, [a=Boyd Atkins] in 1929, Midnight Revellers in 1930, [a=Cassino Simpson] in 1931, and others. Left full-time music to run own restaurant. In 1970 reported to be farming in Michigan.
