Giuseppe Acerbi
Italian operatic tenor (Codogno 1871-Milan 1934). He studied in Milan with Marziani, Blasco and Rossi. He mad his debut in 1899 at the Gaffurio in Lodi in ‘’Rigoletto’’ and ‘’Traviata’’. He was not satisfied with his performances and continued to perfect his vocal technique. In 1901, he made his new debut at the Municipale in Piacenza in ''Lucia di Lammermoor'' opposite Isabella Svicher and Giuseppe Pacini. This time the result was remarkable. In 1905, he signed his first important contract with the Comunale in Bologna where he appeared in ''Madama Butterfly'' with Salomea Krusceninski.
