Jim Nabbie

Jim Nabbie, a tenor vocalist, born Tampa Florida 1920, died Atlanta Georgia 15 September 1992. He was the lead for one of the most popular black vocal groups in the 1930s and 1940s, [a322272]. Their music followed a particular formula, a structure which involved baritone, tenor and bass voices harmonising in a velvety-smooth, effortless combination.
