Karp

American rock band from Tumwater, Washington, which was influenced by the likes of [a=Melvins] and [a=Black Sabbath]. They formed in 1990 and released albums on [a=Calvin Johnson]'s label [l=K]. Karp broke up in 1998 with members moving on to other bands, including [a=The Whip (2)] and [a=Big Business]. Drummer Scott Jernigan died in a bizarre boating accident in 2003.
