English blues/jazz piano player, born 6 November 1929 in Beckenham, Kent, England, died 11 June 2010 in London, England. Parker played with [a=Humphrey Lyttelton And His Band] (1951-1957), the [a=Monty Sunshine's Jazz Band], [a=Kenny Ball], [a=Ken Colyer], [a906329] and [a=Alexis Korner]'s [a=Blues Incorporated]. Parker married Peggy Phango, one of the Velvette girls who fronted the early Cyril Davies performances at the Marquee.
