Canadian singer, songwriter and musician from Saskatchewan. Also known as Micheal "Earnie" Taylor after introducing himself as "earnest" at a gig and a newspaper review the next day shortened it to Earnie and the name stuck. An original member of [a=Humphrey And The Dumptrucks], after that band folded in 1981 he eventually moved to Stratford, Ontario where he formed the groups Me & My Uncle (which included Gary "Humphrey Dumptruck" Walsh) and the Michael Earnie Taylor Orchestra.
