Jimmy Miller

New York-born percussionist, and later a producer famed for his unique drum sounds and mixing skills (23 March 1942, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA - 22 October 1994, Denver, Colorado, USA). Founder of [l=Jimmy Miller Productions, Inc.] Worked with, amongst many others, [a=Blind Faith (2)], [a=Motörhead], [a=Traffic] and [a=The Rolling Stones] - who sacked him in 1973 due to his heroin addiction. Just before his death in 1994 he worked with [a=Primal Scream]. He married the singer [a=Gayle Shepherd] in the early 1960s with whom they had a daughter, [a=Deena Miller]. That marriage ended in divorce. He then married [a=Kerri-Anne Kennerley] in the late 1970s who later left the relationship.
