Ars Nova Copenhagen

ARS NOVA Copenhagen (until 2003 known as [a=Ars Nova (4)]) was founded in 1979 by [a624957] and is widely recognized as one of the world's finest vocal ensembles. The ensemble's chief conductor and artistic director since 2003 is the acclaimed British conductor [a=Paul Hillier]. Ars Nova has also worked with [a624957], [a1792320] (both former chief conductors), [a1213359], [a863490], [a836116], [a849150], [a778828] and [a4999525] (all of which has appeared as guest conductors). The ensemble specializes in the interpretation of the polyphonic choral music of the renaissance and new vocal music.
