BIOGRAPHY: Alessandro, professionally known by his stage name FatFatCorfunk, is an italian DJ, Producer, Remixer, M.C. and vinyl's digger who started in the early '90s. FatFatCorfunk was born in San Giovanni In Persiceto (Bologna) and raised in other italian cities like Brescia, Milano e Lodi. Inspired by HIP HOP's pioneers, he then grew to absorb the heyday of veterans like Kool Herc & Coke La Rock, Furious 5, Spoonie Gee, Grand Wizard Theodore, Treacherous Three, Cold Crush Brothers, Eric B & Rakim, The Bomb Squad & Public Enemy, Compton Most Wanted, NWA, Easy Mo Bee, Phase 2, Taki 183, Tracy 168 and many others. FatFatCorfunk began releasing mixtapes in the mid-'90s; tapes recorded live with two turntables, one destroyed Gemini mixer and many vinyls from the HIP HOP, R'n'B, Soul and Funk tradition. He is also recognized as one of the largest producers and M.C.'s/storytellers of the Italian scene. In addition to his solo albums he's done productions, verses and scratches for artists like The Next 1, PL Cypher, Guè Pequeno, Marracash (Roccia Music vol.1), Bassi Maestro, Montenero, Nunzio (Mic Meskin), Lama Islam (Mic Meskin), Ensi, One Mic, Zonta, Youss Yakuza, Kiave, Don Diegoh, Maury B (Next Diffusion), DJ NessInfamous, Rubo, Jack The Smoker, Gomez, Louis Dee, Gionni Gioielli (Micromala), Giso (DDP), KBC, Ghemon, DJ Double S, Kleane (Illest Biz), Pensie, DJ Mbatò, Rayden, Vinz Mangano, Freshbeat, Radio Rade, Sparadust, Gene 5 MC, Killa Cali, MDT, Ffiume, G-Bersa, Annurà, Izio Sklero, Ago, Tura Toro, Zor (True Vandals), Uzi Junkana (Parabellum), Dalai and many others. For some years he worked at composing Remixes. Recently he decided to dedicate much time to "art of the Remix" taking 12'' vinyl HIP HOP acappellas and creating new beats with the purpose of restarting a journey throughout classic Funk, Soul and Jazz samples.
