Nike Markelius
Swedish musician, composer, lyricist and singer, born August 29, 1962 in Stockholm. She also works as a poet, columnist and a freelance writer. Markelius made her debut as a writer in February 2016 with the musical autobiography "Drumbeats Heartbeat" which was published by the book publisher Modernista. Her career as a musician began as early as 1978 as a drummer in the punk band Usch. In the early 1980s she played drums and sang in the acclaimed new wave band Tant Strul.
