Émilie Payeur lives and works in Montreal. She is a multidisciplinary artist, active mainly in experimental music and visual art. Tension, discomfort, voyeurism and the perversion/deviation of reality are very important in her visual work, both in the creative process as well as the completed work itself. Often described as minimalist and even harsh, her music is predominantly based on risk-taking and no-input technique.
