Philipp Fankhauser

Swiss blues singer and guitarist, born February 20th, 1964 in Thun, Switzerland. Was the frontman of the [a=Checkerboard Blues Band]. While working in the USA between 1994-2000 he was regularly touring with his mentor [a=Johnny Copeland] up to his untimely death in July 1997. After returning back to Switzerland to pursue his solo career, Fankhauser released several albums which received gold and platinum status in his homeland.
