Maria Christensen
Maria Christensen is a versatile songwriter and singer with cuts spanning multiple genres including pop, dance, country and holiday. She sings since the age of 5 and writes songs since 10 years old. Christensen made her performing debut in 1988 as one half of the Latin freestyle duo [a=Sequal]. A talented artist who was once signed to Atlantic Records, Maria achieved world - wide success as a songwriter with her hit “Waiting For Tonight” recorded by [a=Jennifer Lopez]. Has written songs for [a=Nana Mouskouri], [a=Paulina Rubio], [a=Eternal (2)], [a=*NSYNC] and [a=Céline Dion]. Her music has been featured in films such as Drumline, Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen and The Replacement. She had partneredwith the Disney Channel penning songs that have landed in Disney productions including the hit TV movie Lemonade Mouth, Jessie, and Austin And Ally. Additionally Maria wrote the theme songs for the shows Girl Meets World, Stuck In The Middle, and Coop And Cami Ask The World.
