[a=John Denver] was the successor of Chad Mitchell in [a1046137]. Just because of the fame they were allowed to keep the "Mitchell" in the band name but had to remove the "Chad". They recorded two studio albums and a live album. By the time the live album, "Alive", was recorded, David Boise had replaced Joe Frazier. After the departure of Mike Kobluk, the group became [a3911887].
