Manuel Maria de Barbosa Du Bocage is considered as one of the most important Portuguese poet of the eighteenth century. Participated in the Poets Association "Nova Arcádia", using alias Elmano Sadino. (Setúbal, 15 Sept. 1765 - Lisbon, 21 Dec. 1805)
