Ярче 1000 Солнц

Noise rock/experimental post-hardcore band from Moscow, Russia. Ярче 1000 Солнц (Yarche 1000 Solnc aka Brighter Than Thousand Suns) was formed in early 2002. In August 2003 the band recorded 8 short tracks. Music of the band was influenced by [a=Zeni Geva], [a=Today is the Day], [a=Kyuss], [a=Shellac]. Besides working on the debut album, the band also participated in the tribute to the band [a=Химера], recording a cover song "Тотальный Джаз". After releasing debut self-titled mini-album in November 2003 the band split in late 2003. Lineup 2002-2003: Max Ionov (bass, vocals), Ilya Lipkin (aka Rusha) (guitar), Pavel Voloshin (drums). In late 2004 the band ressurected again with a new lineup: Max Ionov (drums, vocals), Andrey Zelenin (aka Brice) (guitar), Timur Enaliev (aka Ali) (bass), but became truly active since late 2006. Later in 2007 the band released second self-titled mini-album. In the middle 2008 the band split again.
