Dick Nolan (2)

Canadian singer, songwriter and guitarist (February 4, 1939 – December 13, 2005). Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Dick Nolan was singing for enthusiastic audiences by the age of 12. In 1958, before his twentieth birthday, he moved to Toronto where he quickly became involved in a full-time musical career. For years he was a headliner at the Horseshoe Tavern. He also played around the United States, and recorded over a dozen albums. Husband to [a=Marie Nolan], father to [a=Bonnie Lou Nolan]. His last live performance was with [a=Ron Rose (4)] at Murphy's Pub, In Marysvale, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, shortly before his passing.
