Ewald Kooiman

Dutch organist (* June 14, 1938 in Wormer, Holland; † January 25, 2009 in Hurghada, Egypt). Kooiman was fascinated by the organ from an early age, but after high school he studied French at the Vrije Universiteit. At the same time he studied with Piet Kee at the Music Lyceum. After obtaining his diploma, he left for Paris to be taught by Jean Langlais. He completed both courses with the highest distinctions.
