Hansjörg Koch

Pianist. Born in Rastatt (Germany) in 1955, started learning the piano at six. While at school he played the organ in the "King-Cats" showband. From 1977-1984 he studied piano at Freiburg (among others, with James Avery) before becoming assistant to professor Kenneth Amada at the University of Iowa. Hansjörg Koch has recorded regularly for Southwest German Radio.
