Kim Kärnfalk

Swedish singer and TV host, born November 1, 1974 in Uddevalla in Bohuslän. She was a member of the group Friends, which broke through in the reality soap Friends on tour in 1999. The group won the Melodifestivalen 2001 with Listen to your heart and came fifth in the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen that year. In 2001, Kim Kärnfalk and Nina Inhammar received the award for Singer of the Year at the Guldklaven Gala in Malung. In 2019, Kim hosted the Guldklaven gala in Malung, which was broadcast on P4 and performed a ballad version of Listen to your heart. In 2021, the song was released in the ballad version by Kim Kärnfalk with the 20th anniversary of the song's launch. Kim Kärnfalk publishes music as a solo artist and runs the record company May Music AB together with her husband Anders Löwstedt.
