Thelma Camacho

American singer born in San Diego, California. Former member of [a314687] and former and founding member of [a152967]. Became a solo pop artist in 1969. She also sang backup for [a75604] on his 1979 album, "Making A Name For Myself", and for the short-lived late '70s blues-rock group [a2740166] on their songs, "That's What I Like About My Baby" and "You Can Love" from their only self-titled album from that same year. Moved to Europe in the late 1980s, and became a costume/jewelry designer.
