Sofia Jannok

Swedish Sámi artist, singer, songwriter, actor and reindeer owner, born September 15, 1982 in Arvidsjaur parish, from Gällivare, Sweden. Since 2011, Jannok lives partly in Umeå, partly in Rävudden, Luokta-Máva's Sami village. Sofia Jannok's pop music has a mix of different musical influences, such as show, jazz and yojk. She usually sings in Northern Sami and writes her songs in both Swedish and English.
