Johan Boding

Swedish singer, born January 10, 1966 in Södertälje. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm 1993-1998. He has been a member of the glam rock group Candy Roxx and in a later edition of the group Noice (2003–2005). Boding has had roles in musicals such as Miss Saigon and Jesus Christ Superstar. In the latter, he has portrayed Jesus several times, but also Judas and Hannah. For his role in Miss Saigon, he received the Golden Mask. Boding has also toured with Rhapsody in Rock and participated in the television programs Så ska det låta (2008, 2010) and Doobidoo (2009, 2016). In the years 2008–2010, Boding completed the A Night at The Opera tour (after Queen's album of the same name) where he performed Queen songs. During 2016–2017, Boding toured Stockholm and the country with Freddie 70 years – A Freddie Mercury & Queen Tribute Concert together with the Night of Queen Band & Choir. They then perform 24 songs by Queen and Freddie Mercury that they played in the original as a tribute to Freddie Mercury who would have turned 70 on September 5, 2016. From 2018, Boding tours with an orchestra and plays with The Night of Queen - Freddie Forever.
