Paulo Cardoso

Jazz bassist (* July 25, 1953 in São Paulo, Brazil; † July 21, 2018 in Munich, Germany). Cardoso moved to Germany in 1973 and finally lived in Munich since 1976. Originally a classically trained musician, he turned to jazz in 1978. From 1992 he worked also as a lecturer. He played a.o. with Mal Waldron, Art Farmer, Leszek Zadlo, Archie Shepp, Leon Thomas, Benny Bailey, Etta Cameron, Monty Waters, Airto Moreira, Kitty Margolis and Klaus Ignatzek.
