Jozef Kuchár

Slovak vocalist (baritone) and actor. He was born 15th September 1928 in Bernolákovo, died 23rd January 2009 in Bratislava. In the years 1947-48 he worked in a košická opera, in the years 1948-1950 in the opera of the SND in Bratislava, in the years 1950-1954 in the Czech theaters (Hořovice, Teplice). And 1955-1991 was a soloist of the Nová Scéna in Bratislava. Applied in classical operettes, musicals and musical comedies: "Poľská krv", "Cigánsky barón", "My Fair Lady", "Loď komediantov". In the years 1955-1965 interpreter of popular songs (especially [a=Gejza Dusík]) and songs from operas in Slovak Radio.
