Wycliffe Johnson

Legendary dancehall reggae musician, producer. Born 1962 in Kingston (Trenchtown section), Jamaica, died Sept. 1, 2009, in East Patchogue, NY. He came to prominence as the keyboard player of the Roots Radics. Half of Steely & Clevie, pioneers of the use of drum machines and synthesizers in reggae music. He was also credited for piano, organ, keyboards, bass, vocals, songwriting and sound engineer.
