Renato Júnior
Renato Júnior (often shortened as Jr.) is a Portuguese musician, a multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer. Born on the 4th of January, 1966 in Arroios, Lisboa, began playing music professionally at 16 years of age, from the mid to late eighties he was of groups such as Odisseia Latina, Kan Kan Klan, and Santaluzia (aka Barbarella), then joined the rock group UHF as their keyboardist, which he was part of until the mid-nineties. As a producer and composer he has worked with artists such as João Pedro Pais, Susana Félix, Carlos Bruno, Filipe Gonçalves, and others; and he has also composed songs and soundtracks for Portuguese soap operas such as "Ganância", "Anjo Selvagem", “Dei-te Quase Tudo”, “Tempo de Viver”, among others. He also co-founded the studio Hipolab in the late eighties and then decades later the MDL studios.
