Antix (3)

Antix has lived, breathed, ate and shat music nearly his whole life. Starting clarinet an early age by high school he was not only playing and teaching clarinet but also sax and flute. In high school he also took up guitar, bass and piano and was playing with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and his own rock/grunge band called Formaldehyde. Antix left school in year 10 and went to study Audio Engineering at the Australian Institute of Music from which he graduated in 2003 with a Degree in Music majoring in Audio. Antix first discovered the rave scene in early 2001, never before knowing it existed. The Ex Rocker/Classical Musician didn’t take long to want to get involved on the scene. In December 2001 he bought decks and spent countless hours mixing quickly establishing himself as one of the top up n comers in the Sydney Rave Scene. In May 2003 Antix setup Studio XXX in his back room at home and started producing learning the tricks of the trade quickly and improving with each track he produced. Antix now has his name on both sides of Executive 3 with banging heads together with Haze and Electrix to produce two stomping tunes “I Need You” and “Genie”. Antix also has a remix he did with Weaver being released on FBI 8 “World’s Apart” and a solo effort on a forth coming Warped Science “Falling For You”. Antix has also done an independent CD release in Australia with Dj Tom-E called “Sweet Release” which is fast becoming a nu skool rave anthem. Antix is also currently playing in a band called Dimension.
