Jim Gibson

Jim Gibson was born 14 January 1968 and died 27 September 2020. Yonkers NY native Jim Gibson was co-founder of [l=Blackout! Records] before he started the [l=Noiseville] record label in 1988 to release music for his band [a=Unholy Swill], as well as an array of alternative, noise, hardcore, and psych bands. Other projects of his include Abu Nidal, Toothfairy, Iron Butter, and Wicked King Wicker. He has also played on records by Ted Franko, Atlantic Drone, and Ghetto Waffles. He owned and ran NY area record stores Noiseville Gallery, Cold Spring Music, and Big Jim's Records (the last of which is still in operation as of Nov 2022).
