Carl Fenton's Orchestra
"Carl Fenton" began as a pseudonym for [a3169023], who was [l14624]'s arranger and first musical director during the 1920s. [a3169023] subcontracted the "Fenton" sessions to various free-lance musicians, most notably [a412673] but also [a831739]. In 1926, Reser's violinist, [a=Reuben Greenberg], began directing the Fenton sessions for [l14624]. When [a3169023] retired in 1927, Greenberg acquired the rights to the Fenton pseudonym and released records under this name on other labels.
