Jan Opalach

Operatic Bass-baritone. Mr. Opalach is a winner of the Walter M. Naumburg Vocal Competition, [a=The Metropolitan Opera] Auditions, and the International Vocalistern Concours of s'Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. He has performed with the New York City Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Netherlands Opera, Opera Theater of St. Louis, the Santa Fe Opera, [a=Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra], [a=New York Philharmonic Orchestra], [a=The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra], and the [a=Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra]. He has collaborated with [a=Marin Alsop], [a=Daniel Barenboim], [a=Dennis Russell Davies], [a=Lorin Maazel], [a=Simon Rattle], and [a=Helmut Rilling]. He is currently a Professor of Voice at the Eastman School of Music.
